A historic high end department store turned into an `bargain' outlet for overseas tourists! I was planning to spend a nice afternoon browsing around there enjoy the windows display and check out high quality Japanese fashion, skincare/makeup and household item,etc.So wrong, among all the counters/departments i walked by, I can feel the thin air of disgusting look or stink eye from the shop clerks. No one made any eye contacts or smile or said `welcome to our store'. Finally i found out why: All overseas tourists can shop there TAX FREE + EXRA 5 % off !!!If i knew it before walking into there, i would have gone to Mitsukoshi instead. Wasted two hours there and lost my mood to shop the rest of my day.
